I have been part of the team since 2015 when I moved back to Christchurch after spending a few years in Wellington working in a similar role. My role in the clinic involves assisting patients through all aspects of the surgical process. I thoroughly enjoy meeting new patients, discussing their options with them and then being there to see them through the process. I have worked as an Ophthalmic technician since 2012 after graduating with a degree in physics and astronomy at the University of Canterbury and subsequently gained a certificate of proficiency in Ophthalmic Technology from the University of Auckland while I have been working in the industry. When I’m not at work my wife and I are surviving our two young children and, when I can find time, I play the drums.
